THE PACQUIAO-HATTON WEIGH-IN, A PHOTO GALLERY

Las Vegas, NV:- They held the weigh-in this Friday afternoon at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. To describe the venue as rocking full is an understatement. The place was so full that the MGM had to turn away more than a thousand more people who wanted to witness the event.
More than half of those in attendance were British. And boy, were they noisy!
The MC, Hollywood star Mario Lopez had a few questions to the crowd but the one that stood out the most was :- ? What time did the British crowd started drinking??
Indeed, many of the Brits had a pint or two. Some are stone- drunk but to their credit, although they were utterly boisterous, they were no trouble makers. Hence, no fights broke out amongst the crowd.
The familiar drum and bugle corps of the Hattonites were there and they lead the seemingly endless cheering and singing.
The Filipinos in spite of their lesser number did their best to cheer for their hero, Pacquiao. But truly, no matter how loud they were, they simply were drowned out by the Hattonites.
When the main combatants, Pacquiao and Hatton came to the stage the noise hit a crescendo. One can only think how loud it will be Saturday evening when more than 17 thousand fans will crowd the arena.
Oh, they actually did the weigh-in. Pacquiao came in at 138 lbs and Hatton a sizzling 140 lbs.
