Headliners for the ?Battle of the Best Bantamweights? Make Weight

Cebu City -- Today at the Cebu Grand Hotel, the main headliners for Gov. Manny Pinol?s promotion ?Battle of the Best Bantamweights easily made the contract fight weigh limit.
Rolando Magbanua of the Braveheart Boxing Club came in at 118 lbs. His opponent, the gladiator from Mexico Jose Angel ?Bocho? Cota likewise came in at 118 lbs.
Magbanua and Cota will tangle for 12 rounds for the WBO Asia Pacific Bantamweight title.
The main event boxers, WBO Bantamweight Champ Gerry Penalosa hit the scales at 120 lbs, the same as his opponent from Mexixo, German Meraz.
The Penalosa-Meraz fight is a tune up for Penalosa who is slated to challenge WBO Super bantamweight champ Juan Ma. Lopez in April at a bout yet to be totally finalized.
