WBO INVADES SOUTH KOREA!

MASAN CITY, KOREA--Two WBO titles are up for grabs here today, as local boys Jin Man Jun and Big Yoo battle Thai and Indonesian fighters respectively for the WBO Asia Pacific vacant title and interim Asia Pacific crowns.
Jin Man Jun takes on talented Thai fighter Saensaknoi Or Muangklang for the WBO Intercontinental flyweight crown over 12 rounds, while Big Yoo takes on Little Roseman for the interim WBO Asia Pacific superfly title.
Muangklang is a late replacement to Indonesia's Heri Amol, who gained notoriety here following his tragic fight with ex-world champ Yo Sam Choi, who died of head injuries following their 12-round fight.
WBO Asia Pacific chairman Leon Panoncillo has personally flown into this beautiful city to supervise both bouts, and is credited for solving the problem of Amol's non-arrival for the fight.
"I'm very happy and grateful to Leon for saving this promotion. Korea owes so much to him," said promoter Hoya.
Hoya has indicated that he plans to promote more WBO fights in the future, and vowed to make the organization very active in his country.
