RATANACHAI VORAPIN ARRIVES IN CEBU!
By Salven L. Lagumbay PhilBoxing.com Fri, 12 Sep 2008

CEBU CITY--Former WBO bantamweight king Ratanachai Sor Vorapin planed in last night from Bangkok in time for his challenge of WBO Oriental bantam champ Michael Domingo in the main event of this Sunday's "Daytime Boxing" at the New Cebu Coliseum here.
Vorapin is looking extremely in shape and ready to wage war, and this was confirmed by no less than Filipino trainer Ronnie Caballero, who said that he injured his shoulder after a mitt session with the veteran ex-world champ.
Vorapin arrived on a PAL flight 9PM last night with his entourage, and was met at the airport by promoter Sammy Gello-ani and his team.
Vorapin was accompanied by ex-WBA superbantam king Somsak Sitchatchawal, lady fighter Usanakorn Kokietgym, Caballero, Thai trainer Boonsong Prempree, journalist Phisit Juajan and international matchmaker Ju Nicholas.
From the airport, Team Vorapin was immediately whisked off by a waiting van to the Cebu Grand Hotel, official fight hotel, where CGH's Carlo Suarez warmly welcomed the group.
The final press conference takes place 3PM today at the Cebu Grand Hotel, where the official weigh-in is also taking place tomorrow.
