McNEELY SAYS OSCAR VS PACMAN A GREAT MEGA-FIGHT

Former Cebu-based boxing manager and promoter Perry McNeely has informed Philboxing.com that the December 6 showdown between boxing biggest attraction Oscar De la Hoya and pound-for-pound topnotcher Manny Pacquiao will be a "great mega-fight."
McNeely, whose JMP Boxing Promotions figured in some of Cebu's biggest events in the past, believes that Pacquiao is a certified superstar of the game just like De la Hoya, and easily the best fighter to come out of Asia.
However, the former promoter says that "I will have to go with Oscar," in the fight that is expected to breach the $100 Million pay-per-view mark.
McNeely maintains that he has too much respect for Pacquiao, but De la Hoya "hits much too hard" adding that Oscar would weigh 147 lbs at the weigh-in, but should be at 160 lbs-plus at fight time.
