GOV. MORENO TO ATTEND 'WBO NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS' EVENT

CEBU CITY--Highly-esteemed and well-loved Misamis Oriental Governor Oscar Moreno has indicated he will be at ringside for tomorrow's huge "WBO Night of Champions" card at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel here.
Moreno, who said a couple of days ago in Cagayan de Oro City that he enjoys a working relationship and personal friendship with the ALA group headed by sportsman Antonio L. Aldeguer, will take special interest in the fight between ALA fighter Jason Pagara and Thailand's Kongdej Sithtrajtrakan.
Pagara hails from Cagayan de Oro City, and being the governor from that province, Moreno is keen on supporting its top athletes.
Moreno was also instrumental in last Saturday's "Rumble in MisOr" event where WBO Youth light welterweight champ Eusebio Baluarte decisioned Indonesia's Heri Andriyanto.
Pagara is one of the products of Misamis Oriental's grassroots sports program conceptualized by Moreno, the other being WBO Asia Pacific minimumweight champion Milan Milendo.
