NIETES, BAUTISTA DEFEND TITLES ON AUG. 30

Night of Champions. WBO minifly champion Donnie Nietes and WBO Intercontinental superbantam champion Rey 'Boom Boom' Bautista who will defend their titles against Eddy Castro of Nicaragua and Eden Marquez of Mexico respectively on Aug. 30 at the Waterfront Hotel in Lahug, Cebu City kicked off with a press conference to formally announce the event at the Lai Garden Restaurant at SM City Cebu yesterday.
