CONCEPCION TORTURES SELF IN GRIFFITH PARK By Alex P. He said despite his reputation as knockout artist, he is always ready if the fight goes the distance like when he defended his title against Juan Ruiz on February 9, this year at the Domo De La Feria, Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico which ended in unanimous decision in his favor after 12 rounds. Concepcion (24-1, 14 KOs) will tackle Adam Carrera (19-3, 8 KOs) in a 10-round non-title showdown in the main undercard of the Miguel Cotto versus Antonio Margarito 12-round world welterweight championship bout at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
