Brooklyn’s undefeated Pryce Taylor Called one of top heavyweight prospects in U.S.

Battles Michael Coffie this Saturday on DAZN from Detroit

NEW YORK CITY (December 18, 2025) – Undefeated Pryce Taylor (9-0, 6 KOs) is considered one of the leading heavyweight prospects in the United States. The 6’ 4”, 275-pound Taylor will showcase his skill set this Saturday night (Dec. 20) against veteran Michael Polite Coffie (13-5, 10 KOs) in an 8-round match-up, streaming live on DAZN from Fox Theater in Detroit.

Taylor’s promoter, Dmitry Salita (Salita Promotions), certainly is a believer. “On Saturday, December 20,” Salita said, “we have a classic heavyweight showdown in Pryce Taylor versus Michael Coffie. Taylor is one of the most promising American heavyweight prospects of this era, and he carries significant potential. Coffie is a bonafide gatekeeper who has the ability to detail Pryce’s dreams of championship glory. When Coffie lost to Fabio Wardley in an all-out war in the U.K., Wardley went on to fight for a world title shortly after. Pryce has the same expectations in this fight. With a win, he will establish himself as a serious contender and join a very short list of American fighters vying for the coveted heavyweight world title opportunity.”

Taylor, 29, registered a solid 60-11 amateur record, captured a pair of New York Golden Gloves titles, and was heavyweight runner-up four times at the prestigious USA Boxing Nationals.

Pryce’s manager Keith Sullivan (Sullivan Management) agrees with Salita’s claims about Taylor’s potential, adding, “America is looking for its next great heavyweight and Pryce Taylor is answering that call. This fight is another statement on his path to the top.”

Sullivan, a former New York State Athletic Commission Deputy Commissioner, also manages 3-time, 2-division World Champion Miyo Yoshida (18-5), Bronx NYPD officer Nisa Rodriguez (3-1, 1 KO), and junior featherweight prospect Brooklyn “The Big Deal” Barwick (4-0, 4 KOs). Sullivan also co-manages IBF Welterweight World title challenger Paddy “The Real Deal” Donovan (14-2, 11 KOs) and his cousin, middleweight Jim Donovan (2-0, 1 KO), alongside coach and ex-world champion Andy Lee.
