Undefeated Jose Tito Sanchez Returns to Face Jesus Ramirez Rubio in Super Bantamweight Main Event on Friday

‘LA Friday Night Fights’ Returns In 2026 Live on DAZN From Thunder Studios in Long Beach, CA

LONG BEACH, CA – December 15, 2025 – On Friday, January 23, 2026, Paco Presents, Golden Boy Promotions and Robert Garcia Boxing Academy will bring in the new year with the third installment of the “LA Friday Night Fights” professional boxing series from Thunder Studios in Long Beach, CA, and streamed live on global sports giant DAZN (11:00 pm ET/8:00 pm PT).

In the 10-round super bantamweight main event, Cathedral City, California’s undefeated Jose Tito Sanchez (14-0, 8 KOs) will face Jesus “Eduardo” Ramirez Rubio (23-4-3, 17 KOs) of Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico.

26-year-old Jose Tito Sanchez started boxing at age seven and quickly found a home. From a fighting family, Sanchez’s grandfather is a former fighter and his younger brother, Leonardo 'Leo' Sánchez, is an undefeated super featherweight. A virtual punching machine in the ring, Sanchez’s style has been compared to the great Mexican Julio Cesar Chavez because of his old-school mannerisms and sustained focus on attacking his opponent’s body.

After turning pro in 2018, Sanchez won the WBC Latino Continental Championship by stopping Carlos Caraballo in three rounds in July 2023 and made two successful defenses, a unanimous decision over Walter Santibanes in which he threw more than 1,000 Punches over 10 rounds in December 2023 and a unanimous 10-round decision over Erik Ruiz in April 2024. In this fight, Sanchez will be returning from 14 months of inactivity due to injury.

A heavy-handed contender on the fringe who is still looking for a signature victory, 29-year-old Jesus Ramirez Rubio’s boxing alias is 'KO-Reano', Korean in Spanish. From Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico, Ramirez Rubio turned pro in early 2016 and lost just one of his first 25 fights.

Ramirez Rubio is best known for one of his losses, a heartbreaking KO 9 in April 2024 to top-ranked Ramon Cardenas for the WBA Continental North America Super Bantamweight Title. Ramirez Rubio fought evenly with Cardenas for all nine rounds before running into a body shot he could not recover from in time. At the time of the stoppage, the scores of the bout were even at 77-75, 75-77 and 76-76.

Rubio spars with former world champion Miguel Berchelt, as well as former WBC Continental Americas featherweight champ, Bryan Acosta. He was last seen in the ring in November of this year, stopping countryman Carlos Daniel Valenzuela Pacheco in five rounds.
