UNDEFEATED LAZARO LORENZANA AND FELLOW KNOCKOUT ARTIST VETERAN LUIS ARIAS STEP IN FOR NEWLY ANNOUNCED MAIN EVENT FOR THE WBC REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE

Televised Live on ESPN Deportes & ESPN Knockout at 7 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET | Saturday, November 29, 2025 | Pechanga Resort Casino

TEMECULA, CALIF. (NOVEMBER 28, 2025) – Manny Pacquiao Promotions’ (MPP) U.S. debut will have a new main event pitting undefeated Lazaro Lorenzana (18-0, 13 KOs) and grizzled veteran Luis Arias (22-5-1, 17 KOs) in a middleweight tilt between two knockout artists for the WBC Regional Championship.

The International Hall of Famer and eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao was on hand during Friday’s official weigh-in and final press conference before all the fighters’ step into the ring at Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula on Saturday night. Lorenzana from San Diego and Las Vegas’ Arias were elevated to the main event slot after Elijah Pierce and Lorenzo Parra fell out due to an illness.

With a career spanning over a decade, Arias is the former IBF USBA Middleweight champion, a title he spectacularly defended twice. Arias now aims to utilize his experience to get back in the win column. In just his second fight in the U.S., WBC Silver Middleweight champion Lorenzana prepares for the stiffest test of his career against the experienced Arias. Lorenzana enters this bout on the strength of two straight knockout victories in 2025. Born and raised in San Diego, Lorenzana travels back and forth between Tijuana to train as he gears up for his homecoming tomorrow.

In a co-main event marking a new beginning for the legendary Pacquiao name, Manny Pacquiao’s eldest son, Jimuel Pacquiao, will start his professional boxing campaign when he takes on Brendan Lally. Following a successful three-year amateur career, 24-year-old Jimuel trains out of the esteemed Wild Card Boxing Gym under the guidance of Marvin Somodio. Jimuel’s unmissable professional debut comes at an exciting time for his family, as he and his fiancé welcomed a baby girl to the world last week, the first grandchild for Manny Pacquiao. Jimuel, the son of one of the most notable pillars in boxing, is prepared to create his own legacy while proudly ushering the Pacquiao name into a new generation on Saturday night.

Standing between Jimuel and his storybook beginning to his career is Chicago’s Brendan Lally. Like his opposition, Saturday night will be Lally’s professional debut. While in college studying to be a high school teacher, Lally discovered boxing and quickly shifted his entire focus to the sport, winning a collegiate national championship. In a matchup destined to be remembered for years, Lally is ready to seize the opportunity to take on one of boxing’s most legendary family names.

Here's what the executive team and competitors had to say:

Tony Cohen, WBC Promotions President:

“Thank you for Pechanga Resort Casino for holding this event. There’s no introduction needed for Manny Pacquiao, a generational gap has been closed by a legendary fighter that everybody in the world knows his name. When you think of boxing, you think Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, and Manny Pacquiao. You think of where he came from and how all the kids around the world look up to this gentleman. He’s such an amazing motivational human being, not just a fighter. For him to be a 12-time eight division world champion, I think it's clear to everybody that Manny Pacquiao is going to be a milestone ahead of any other promoters in the United States.”

Brendan Gibbons, Lead Matchmaker:

“I’d like to thank Pechanga Resort Casino, Patrick Ortiz of Ringside Ticketing, Limitless Boxing Group, Ray Alcorta of DMG Boxing, and all of our sponsors. Jimuel [Paquiao] is making his debut which is obviously a big step up. He’s got a tough kid in front of him in Brendan Lally. I also like to thank everyone else on the card.”

“It’s going to be an exciting night of fights. I think every fight is going to be a barn burner. It’s going to be fun. I think every fight is a 50/50 fight. Everyone can win and everyone can lose. This card features it all, from a veteran in Luis Arias squaring off against a young star in Lazaro Lorenzana.”

Lazaro Lorenzana:

“I want to thank God for allowing me to be here today. Hope everybody had a good Thanksgiving. Thank you, Brendan Gibbons and Manny Pacquiao Promotions. We're the main event Saturday night. We're here to put on good show. I respect everybody that comes in my way, and I don't do much talking. I just handle my business in the ring.”

Luis Arias:

“I’ve been doing this for such a long time. I’ve been competing at the highest level for the longest time. This opportunity presented itself and I believe it is a very winnable fight. Lorenzana is 18-0, but you can’t name one person on that resume. It sounds good, but who have you fought? I’ve fought several champion and contenders. I get called to fight because promoters know I come to fight.”

Jimuel Pacquiao:

“I knew I was ready to step up to the pros because my team has instilled that confidence in me. I train with professionals every day and I believe I am very prepared. I work on everything in the gym and I try to pull inspiration from all the great fighters.”

Brendan Lally:

“I expect Jimuel [Pacquiao] ready to come in tomorrow and try to prove himself.”

“I can’t give out any of my secrets. That’s called operational security. You will have to see tomorrow.”

Michael Bracamontes:

“I’m confident going into this matchup. I feel great, made weight, and now it’s just time to showcase my skills in front of the Southern California crowd. I got a tough opponent in front of me so expect fireworks.”

William King:

“I want to thank God and my team. I can’t wait to show my abilities on Saturday. God put me here for a reason and I’m planning to meet Bracamontes in the center of the ring tomorrow night.”

Saleto Henderson:

“I’m 100% prepared for this fight. My team and I have implanted a great gameplan and I’m going to execute it tomorrow.”

Jose Russell:

“Henderson has a great skillset. But I’m a great fighter myself and I have to go through these types of opponents in order to get to the top of the sport. Like any Mexican fighter, I’m going to give it my all tomorrow night.”

Terry Washington:

“You’ll see what I have in store tomorrow. I’m prepared for any looks my opponent gives. I plan on making it my fight as soon as that first round bell rings. Don’t miss it.”

Ricardo Astuvilca:

“All thanks to God. I pray that my training will pay off and I get the results I need tomorrow. It’s going to be a can’t-miss fight.”
