MANNY PACQUIAO PROMOTIONS ANNOUNCES A FULL SELLOUT AND BROADCAST DETAILS AHEAD OF U.S. DEBUT EVENT THIS SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 29, AT PECHANGA RESORT CASINO IN TEMECULA, CALIF.

PhilBoxing.com

LOS ANGELES – Manny Pacquiao Promotions (MPP) today announced that their highly anticipated U.S. debut on Saturday, November 29, is sold out and will be streamed live on ESPN Deportes and ESPN Knockout, beginning at 7 p.m. PT / 10 p.m. ET.

Legendary ring announcer Jimmy Lennon Jr. will be in the squared circle, welcoming the fighters into the ring and two-time World Champion Shawn Porter will provide social media coverage from the event.

Doors for the event open at 5 p.m. PT, with the first fight of the night taking place at 6 p.m. PT. The event is completely sold out, with only a small handful of tickets available for resale at Ticketmaster.com.

“Fight week is finally upon us, and we couldn’t be more proud of the event we’ve put together for our sold-out U.S. debut,” said Sean Gibbons, President of Manny Pacquiao Promotions. “Fans in attendance and watching on ESPN Deportes and ESPN Knockout are going to be very impressed by a talented group of young fighters who are looking to become the next world champion.”

“We’ve got ten amazing fights lined up for this sold-out card at Pechanga, complete with title fights, pro debuts, several undefeated fighters and knockout artists from all around the world,” said Lead Matchmaker Brendan Gibbons. “There is going to be non-stop action from the first bell to the last, and I can’t wait to launch Manny Pacquiao Promotions here in the United States with this event.”

The evening’s main event features a clash between two knockout artists, as Venezuela’s Lorenzo Parra (23-1-1, 17 KOs) takes on Oklahoma City’s Elijah Pierce (21-2, 17 KOs) in a 12-round WBO International Featherweight title bout. This high-stakes showdown promises to deliver fireworks, with the winner one step closer to facing reigning WBO Featherweight Champion Rafael Espinoza.

In a co-main event marking a new beginning for the legendary Pacquiao name, Manny Pacquiao’s eldest son, Manny “Jimuel” Pacquiao Jr., will start his professional boxing campaign when he takes on fellow pro debutant Brendan Lally. Following a successful three-year amateur career, 24-year-old Jimuel trains out of the esteemed Wild Card Boxing Gym under the guidance of Marvin Somodio. Jimuel’s unmissable professional debut comes at an exciting time for his family, as he and his fiancé await the arrival of their first child — who will also be Manny Pacquiao’s first grandchild — later this year. Jimuel, the son of one of boxing's most notable pillars, is prepared to create his own legacy while proudly ushering the Pacquiao name into a new generation on Saturday, November 29.

Standing between Jimuel and his storybook beginning to his career is Chicago’s Brendan Lally. Like his opposition, November 29 will be Lally’s professional debut. While in college, Lally discovered boxing and quickly shifted his entire focus to the sport, winning a collegiate national championship. In a matchup destined to be remembered for years, Lally is ready to seize the opportunity to take on one of boxing’s most legendary family names.

TOYS FOR TOTS:
Jimuel and his fiancée welcomed a baby girl to the world last week, the first grandchild for Manny Pacquiao. Rather than throwing a traditional baby shower, MPP has partnered with Marine Toys for Tots and encourage fans attending the event to bring unwrapped toy donations benefitting underserved children across Southern California.
