Jellie Ann Magro wins 6 straight, Quezon City down Isabela in PCAP By Marlon Bernardino PhilBoxing.com Thu, 06 Nov 2025 The Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers (IIEE), Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers (PSME) and Quezon City (QC) chess team of Siba’s tribe won over Isabela Knights of Alexander 16-5 last November 5 in the Professional Chess Association of the Philippines (PCAP). Jellie Ann Magro, a mechanical engineer, continuous her winning form as she won all her last 6 games versus Camarines, Iriga and Isabela lady players. With absence of IIEE-PSME QC team senior player, all other boards except 1 had delivered 2 wins each with board 1 NM Gerald Ferriol, board 2 CM Romy Fagon, board 6 CM Joseph Navarro and board 7 AIM Francis Talaboc. Board 5 Nixon Curioso split his game.
