The bout is part of Boxlab Promotions’ signature “Night of Champions” series, a premier platform showcasing elite talent and future contenders. Gallegos, the 19-year-old southpaw from Las Vegas, NV, has been building strong momentum throughout 2025 and looks to notch his fourth victory of the year when he faces the battle-tested Mercado. On his upcoming matchup, Gallegos emphasized the challenge that Mercado presents. “Alberto’s been in with some solid guys, and he’s got experience, so I know I have to be sharp. But I’m ready for whatever he brings. I respect him, but I plan to dominate.
