Justin Goossen-Brown Set to Make DAZN Broadcasting Debut This Friday at Boxlab Promotions’ Night of Champions in Orlando

PhilBoxing.com

ORLANDO, FL (July 17, 2025) — A new voice is entering the world of boxing commentary as Justin Goossen-Brown makes his official debut as part of the DAZN broadcast team this Friday, July 18, during Boxlab Promotions’ Night of Champions, taking place at the prestigious Caribe Royale Hotel in Orlando, Florida.

Coming from boxing royalty, Justin is the son of legendary promoter Tom Brown, the driving force behind TGB Promotions, and one of the most respected names in professional boxing. Though Justin grew up ringside, his own path first led to a different sport…baseball.

A graduate of San Diego State University (SDSU), Justin played Division I baseball before launching a six-year career in the minor leagues, where he developed the athletic mindset, resilience, and communication skills that now shape his voice as a broadcaster.

“I’ve been around championship fighters my whole life, thanks to my father and Uncle Joe,” said Goossen-Brown, the nephew of Hall of Fame Trainer Joe Goossen. “While I followed my own journey through baseball, I always knew boxing was in my DNA. I’m grateful to DAZN and Boxlab Promotions for this opportunity to bring a new energy and perspective to the broadcast team.”

Justin will join an expert commentary crew including respected journalist Michael Woods, known for his insightful coverage and colorful storytelling, and Curran Bhatia, a seasoned broadcaster and producer with deep roots in combat sports media.

Together, the trio promises to deliver a compelling viewing experience—breaking down each bout with insight, storytelling, and real-time analysis that connects the action in the ring to the stories behind each fighter.

The “Night of Champions” event, hosted by Boxlab Promotions, has quickly become one of Florida’s premier boxing showcases. The July 18 card will feature a stacked lineup of rising stars, title hopefuls, and hungry contenders, all vying for their moment under the lights—and now, in front of a broader audience on DAZN, bolstered by a fresh and exciting commentary team.

With deep roots in the fight game and the polished edge of a former professional athlete, Justin Goossen-Brown represents the next generation of boxing voices—bridging tradition, athletic experience, and modern storytelling for fans across the globe.
