Navarrete, Suarez Make Weight for WBO Title Clash; Muratalla and Abdullaev Ready for Interim IBF Battle PhilBoxing.com Sat, 10 May 2025 ![]() TOMORROW at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT LIVE on ESPN, ESPN Deportes & ESPN+ Pechanga Arena San Diego San Diego, California - Fighters hit the scales today at the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, California, ahead of tomorrow night's exciting boxing card headlined by Emanuel Navarrete defending his WBO junior lightweight world title against Charly Suarez, and Raymond Muratalla facing Zaur Abdullaev for the vacant interim IBF lightweight world championship. The action will be broadcast live on ESPN, ESPN Deportes, and ESPN+ beginning at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT. Navarrete came in overweight by .4 lbs as he stepped on the scales. After he stripped down, he still weighed .3 lbs above the 130 lbs weight limit. Navarrete was given two hours to make weight otherwise he would have lost his title. We he returned to the scales however, he made weight at exactly 130 lbs. There were talks that this will be Navarrete's last fight at super featherweight as he clearly outgrown the weight class judging from his struggle to make weight in his last few fights. The co-feature bout also saw both fighters meet their required marks for the vacant interim IBF lightweight title. Raymond Muratalla stepped onto the scale at 134.4 pounds, while Zaur Abdullaev weighed in slightly heavier at 134.6 pounds.
