Quirante KOs former teammate in 4th round

UNDEFEATED Jeplex Quirante of Bukidnon continued his winning ways by knocking out former teammate Kasty Flores of General Santos City in the 4th round last night, December 22 at Calinan Gym in Calinan, Davao City.
It was a powerful punch by the 23-year-old Quirante that brought Flores down outside the ring.
Flores, 19, was never able to recover and get back to the ring. He was counted at 1:41 in the 4th round.
Quirante and Flores are former stablemates of Yolanda Alfante of the Shock Punch Boxing Promotions in Cavite.
Quirante now has four straight wins with no draw or defeat while Flores suffered his 3rd loss against three wins both in the minimumweight division.
The Quirante-Flores bout was part of the “Mandirigmang Pinoy” event, which was promoted by Simeon Rey Gil.
