AND SERHII BOHACHUK HOST LOS ANGELES MEDIA WORKOUT PhilBoxing.com Wed, 24 Jul 2024  THE WBC INTERIM SUPER WELTERWEIGHT WORLD TITLE CLASH IS SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY, AUGUST 10, 2024 AT MICHELOB ULTRA ARENA AT MANDALAY BAY RESORT AND CASINO IN LAS VEGAS, EXCLUSIVELY LIVE ON DAZN LOS ANGELES, CALIF. (July 23, 2024) - The undefeated knockout monster Vergil Ortiz Jr. (21-0, 21 KOs) of Grand Prairie, Texas and Vinitza, Ukraine’s WBC Interim Super Welterweight World Champion Serhii “El Flaco” Bohachuk (24-1, 23 KOs) hosted a media workout today at Golden Boy HQ to discuss their upcoming fight for Bohachuk’s WBC Interim Super Welterweight World Championship title. The world championship fight is presented by Golden Boy Promotions in association with 360 Promotions and TGB Promotions. It is scheduled for 12-rounds and is set to take place at the Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday, August 10, 2024. The exclusive fight night will be broadcast worldwide on DAZN beginning at 5:00 p.m. PT. Here is what the fighters had to say: 
SERHII "EL FLACO" BOHACHUK, WBC INTERIM SUPER WELTERWEIGHT WORLD CHAMPION: "I am feeling great. I wanted this fight because Vergil is a great fighter. Vergil was the best fighter in the 147-division and in the 154 division he is one of the best fighters. He is now ranked No.1 on BoxRec. I wanted a fight with him because he is one of the best boxers." "Yes, I may have sparred with him before but sparring is sparring. In a fight - it's different. I know Vergil - he is strong, he is smart, he has a good punch, he has good conditioning. He is a good fighter, but I am better." "I want to show my fans great fights. I am interested in fighting the best boxers not the easy boxers. If it is not interesting to me, then it is not interesting to people."
