International Boxing Hall of Fame to Stream 2024 Official Induction Ceremony Live on YouTube Channel PhilBoxing.com Wed, 05 Jun 2024  The Class of 2024 will receive boxing’s highest honor at Official Induction Ceremony on Sunday, June 9th at 2:30 pm CANASTOTA, NY (June 5, 2024) – The International Boxing Hall of Fame and Museum is excited to announce that the Official Induction Ceremony, a highlight of the 2024 Hall of Fame Weekend festivities, will be streamed live on the Hall of Fame’s YouTube channel. This historic event will take place just 10 minutes away from the Boxing Hall of Fame at The Showroom at Turning Stone Resort Casino in nearby Verona, NY on Sunday, June 9th, starting at 2:30 pm (EST) / 11:30 am (PST). Boxing fans around the globe will have the unique opportunity to witness this important occasion as legendary figures in the sport are honored and inducted into the Hall of Fame. The live stream aims to bring the excitement and celebration of the ceremony to a wider audience, ensuring that fans everywhere can share in the experience. The Class of 2024 includes Ricky “The Hitman” Hatton, Michael “Double M” Moorer, Ivan “Iron Boy” Calderon and Diego “Chico” Corrales (posthumous) in the men’s Modern category; Jane “The Fleetwood Assassin” Couch and “La Guerrera” Ana Maria Torres in the Women’s modern category; trainer Kenny Adams, manager Jackie Kallen and publicist Fred Sternburg in the Non-Participant category; journalist Wallace Matthews and broadcaster Nick Charles (posthumous) in the Observer category; Luis Angel Firpo (posthumous) in the Old Timer category and Theresa Kibby (posthumous) in the women’s Trailblazer category. “We are thrilled to offer fans worldwide the chance to be part of the 2024 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony through our live stream,” said Edward Brophy, Executive Director of the International Boxing Hall of Fame. “This event is a tribute to the remarkable careers and contributions of our inductees, and we are proud to share their special moments with boxing fans across the globe.” The Hall of Fame Weekend is renowned for its star-studded events, which include meet-and-greets, memorabilia signings, and a celebratory banquet, culminating in the Official Induction Ceremony.
