BRACKET A top qualifier Labor Lakers play Bracket B top contender Kickstarter MLCG on May 3 at 5:45 p.m. in the 1st Sanman Basketball Club Inter-Color League at the Goldstar Gym in Bo. Obrero.
The Lakers are leading the Bracket A with four wins against one loss while MLCG is pacing Bracket B with a similar 4-1 win-loss card.
The Lakers will be headed by Gi-Boy Reyes, who top scored with 16 points and three rebounds as they shaded Team Amalejo, 48-40 last April 15.
MLCG, on the other hand, will be powered by Jay Roxas, who fired 12 points and grabbed nine rebounds as Kickstarter demolished San-ei, 65-52 last April 29.
It will be followed by the no. 4 teams Depad/Ford [Bracket B] against Putragis [Bracket A] at 6:45 p.m.
Depad has a 3-2 card while Putragis has 2-2.
“There will only be one game crossover from the two brackets,” said SBL president Arman Sañano.
Lloyd Luague is the tournament director.
