The latest installment of ProBox TV’s Wednesday Night Fights is on March 27, and the promotion is headlined by an interesting crossroads battle between two lightweights.
Joseph Adorno (18-3-2, 15 KOs) came in at 135lbs. His opponent, the former featherweight world champion Nicholas Walters (28-1-1, 22 KOs) was also 135lbs. The two will battle in a 10-round main event.
Adorno recently responded to a two-fight losing streak by stopping Jonathan Perez in five rounds. Before that, he had lost two close fights by decision – to Edwin De Los Santos and Elvis Rodriguez.
Walters is 38 years old. He is riding a two-fight win streak after seven years of inactivity following his loss to Vasyl Lomachenko.
