Legaspi, Dangcolos win 400m dash

DAVAO CITY -- Frince Legaspi of BBG Team A and John Leo Dangcolos of Calinan National High School won in the 400 meter dash in the second day of the 2nd DC Athletic Festival last Sunday, March 24 at University of Mindanao Matina track oval.
Legaspi won the 13 Under girl’s 400m by clocking 1 minuted and 13 seconds.
He beat Jasmin Bentulan of Crossing Bayabas National High School, who had a time of 1.14.
Third was Rosevel Escovia of BBG Team A with 1.18.
Dangcolos, on the other hand, had a time of one minute and 1.31 seconds to rule the boy’s category.
Xadro Caneda of Emar Youth Athletics Team finished second at 1.04.76 followed by Prince Gay Belo, also of Emar with 1.05.19. [Lito delos Reyes]
