Double main event in DUKC VI By Lito delos Reyes PhilBoxing.com Fri, 15 Mar 2024  DAVAO CITY – It will be a double main event in the coming Davao Ultimate Knockout Challenge VI amateur bouts set on March 17 at the Elorde Davao Gym in Matina. Organizer Alfie Angelo Jonsay said Cristy Cabeza of BT Boxing from Davao will fight Marrielle Jnsen of Batang Pantukan Boxing Team from Pantukan (54kgs.). The other main event is between Seth Archival Santiago of Elorde Boxing Team and Andrian Tolentino of Strive Fitness Gym-Davao (70kgs). A special bout will also feature two female fighters RB Jean dela Pena of Muay-Thai and Fitness Boxing Team from Nabunturan, Davao del Oro against Marielie Batal of Batang Pantukan at 46kgs. There will also be three of the coaches from Elorde Davao Gym – VJ Sarmogenes, Reymark Antaran, and Jhay Ferolino - who will be fighting against separate coaches. Sarmogenes will fight Jojet Baliente of Batang Pantukan Boxing Team in the 60 kilogram while Antaran will trade punches with Noel Rosales of Davao de Oro Muay Thai and Fitness in the 52-kilograms. Ferolino will face Russel Calasang also from Muay Thai for the 51-kilograms.
