ABLACA THINKS BA-AT CAN GO PLACES AFTER BEATING OMANZ

Trainer Juanito Ablaca of RWS Stable believes that Jonathan Ba-at can go places after his unanimous decision win over ALA Boy Joseph Omanz last April 30 in Balamban, Cebu.
Ablaca, who trained Ba-at for the fight, said that his ward worked very hard in preparation for the showdown, and the victory was well-deserved.
"Grabe iya ensayo adtong awaya. Gipangandaman jud to namo kay maayo gud na si Omanz," said Ablaca, who also trains OPBF lightweight champ Randy "Komong Bato" Suico.
With the win, Ba-at is now in line for a possible crack at the RP bantamweight title, said Ablaca.
"I told Archie (Ano-os) on my mobile phone to pressure Omanz, because he is taller and would pile up points. The key was to stay in front of Omanz and not let him get the distance," said Ablaca.
