MATS excited to play against DMMA

THE Mindanao Aeronautical and Technical School (MATS) Navigators are excited to play against the Davao Merchant Marine Academy (DMMA) College of Southern Philippines in the first game of the Inter-Collegiate Division of the ALDU Cup of the Davao del Norte Basketball League (DDNBL) on October 16 in Samal Island.
MATS Navigators head coach Tommy Collados said that DMMA is one of the top collegiate teams in Davao City.
“As usual, stick to our system and double effort always in defense,” said Collados.
Six-foot-one Clyde Gloria is the only one left from the old roster.
The rest of the players are Addame Batersal, 6’0; Reymel Tony Villegas, 6’2; Danny Boy Geraldino, 6’1; John Michael Bonares, 5’11; Alexan Jhade Arak, 5’11; Jason Selencio, 5’11; Kyle Lapian, 6’1; Matthew Dospueblos, 5’10; Daniel Ustares, 5’8; and Jade Anthony Golosinda, 5’9.
MATS and DMMA are in Bracket B together with Saint John Paul II, Brokenshire College and University of Mindanao Tagum.
In Bracket A are Jose Maria College, Philippine Women's College, Davao del Norte State College, UM Davao and UM Peñaplata.
DDNBL Commissioner and SanMan Sports Foundation Chairman Arman Sañano[E1] said the games will also be played in Tagum, Carmen, Panabo and Davao City.
