Ex-OPBF champ Dante to face Ralozo in Bukidnon By Lito delos Reyes PhilBoxing.com Wed, 20 Apr 2022 ![]() Lito Dante. FORMER Orient and Pacific Boxing Federation minimumweight champion Lito “Naruto” Dante of Bohol will face Ryan Ralozo of Cagayan de Oro City on April 30 in the “Matira ang Matibay” at the Dangcagan in Bukidnon. “My training is okay. Even if it's just Survival,” said the 32-year-old Dante. Dante is now training at the Survival Training Camp of trainer Joven Jimenez and former International Boxing Federation super flyweight champion Jerwin “Pretty Boy” Ancajas at Dangcagan. His manager is still Fernando Parcon while former Philippine Navy amateur boxing team member Florence Ferrer is the trainer. “I'm only 108 now, I don't have a weight problem,” said Dante. Dante, who will fight at 105 pounds, is two weeks already in Bukidnon. “It's important for me to win so that I can return to world ratings and maybe be given a chance to fight again in the world against anyone in 105,” said Dante. Dante grabbed the Orient and Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) minimum weight title by scoring a 12th round technical knockout over undefeated Tsubasa Koura of Japan last March 31, 2019 in Japan. But because of the pandemic, Dante was not able to defend it and so he lost it. He also lost his fight to Japanese Yudae Shiqeoka by a unanimous decision last December 10, 2019 at Korakuen Hall. Dante then knocked out Sulis Barrera of Indonesia in the 2nd round last February 8, 2020 in San Fernando City. But Dante had no fight for almost two years because of a pandemic. “There is still a big chance, just give me a chance to fight for the world title,” said Dante. Ralozo (11-36-2, 2KOs), on the other hand, suffered a 1st round technical knockout to undefeated Eldin “Golden Boy” Guinahon of Misamis Oriental last January 16, 2022 in Lagonglong.
