Joet Gonzalez ready to shock the world
By Hesiquio Balderas PhilBoxing.com Thu, 14 Oct 2021
Joet Gonzalez (R) and Navarrete pose during Thursday's presscon in San Diego, CA.
Joet Gonzalez is ready to become the New Featherweight champion of the world. But he has a tremendous fighter in front of him in Emanuel Navarrete, a great champion that is also from Mexico who has power in both hands.
Gonzalez can box and can brawl, he has the pedigree of a great fighter and has the guidance and support from his Manager Frank "Derecho" Espinoza.
Mr. Espinoza has guided the career of many world champions including Abner Mares, Ponce Del León, Israel Vázquez just to mention a few.
"I'm very happy with this fight, Joet has the abilities and the skills to become champion. We don't take Navarrete lightly, he is a great champion, but Joet is a well rounded fighter and has the skills to become champion. I have confidence in my fighters. This will be a great fight, an all out Mexican war, two Mexicans in the ring is guarantee of a great fight," mentioned two time manager of the year Frank Espinoza.
Gonzalez is a boxer-puncher who has only one defeat in his resume against Shakur Stevenson and is looking to capture featherweight glory against Navarrete who is considered one of the top Mexican champions at the moment.
Without a doubt Joet seems to be the complete package to upset Navarrete in a great fight.
