PHOTOS: TADURAN RETAINS BELT WITH TECHNICAL DRAW AGAINST VALLADARES

Filipino IBF minimumweight champion Pedro Taduran retained his belt with a four round technical draw against Daniel Valladares at the Jardin de Cerveza Expo in Guadalupe, Nuevo Leon north of Mexico City Saturday night (Sunday in Manila).
Valladeres sustained a cut on his right eye due to an accidental clash of heads in the first round, and by the end of the fourth round, the ring doctor advised the referee that Valladares could not continue.
Scores after the 4th round: Ellis Johnson 38-38, Jonny Davis 38-38 and John Basile 39-37 for Valladares.
Taduran's record now stand at 14 wins, 2 losses with one draw with 11 wins inside the distance while Valladares is 22-1-1 with 13 KOs.
