Kick Off Press Conference Feb. 21 Miccosukee Fight Night Series 2020 PhilBoxing.com Thu, 30 Jan 2020 Miami, Florida: All Star Boxing, Inc held a press conference today at the Miccosukee Resort & Gaming to announce its 2020 Kick Off on Friday February 21st. The show marks the return of Boxeo Telemundo back to the Miccosukee Dome after a 10 year hiatus. In Attendance and headlining the card, Jonathan "Bomba" Gonzalez had a few words on his return and light flyweight debut. "Im excited to be back on Boxeo Telemundo were I went a perfect 3-0 in 2018 to earn my world title shot" "The outcome in my world title fight didn't go as planned so my team and I have decided to drop back down to light flyweight in search of a new title opportunity" Also on Hand two time olympic gold medalist and cuban sensation Robeisy Ramirez will be making his Miami debut and first appearance of 2020 "I am happy to be here in Miami were I have received a warm welcome from my cuban fans" "I would like to thank Top Rank, Tuto Zabala Jr from All Star Boxing, Inc and the Miccosukee for having me on this great show and expect a great performance from me on Feb.21" Felix "Tuto" Zabala Jr President of All Star Boxing, Inc also stated: "We are glad to be back home in the Miccosukee Resort & Gaming were many great legends have fought including the likes of Floyd Mayweather Jr, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, Hector "Macho" Camacho amongst others" President of the World Boxing Organization(WBO) Francisco "Paco" Valcarcel also honored Miccosukee Tribe Of Indians Of Florida chairman Bill Cypress with a commemorative World Championship belt for all his hard work throughout the years in helping out the sport. |
