PLANIA STOPS BUITRAGO IN FOURTH

Sanman super bantamweight contender “Magic” Mike Plania now (W22 KO12 L1 D0) dominated Nicaraguan opponent Julio Buitrago before stopping him in the 4th at the Miami-Dade County Fair & Expo in Miami, Florida Friday, Oct. 25.
Plania started strong and immediately unleashed his relentless attack to the head and body of the Nicaraguan. The 4th round were all Plania and he hurt Buitrago with a right uppercut that was followed by a flurry of punches. The referee quickly stopped the fight giving Plania his seventh straight victory.
Plania stated, “I felt good with my performance. I felt confident again and am now ready for a bigger fight next. I am ready to face any of the top super bantamweights. I want to thank Sanman boxing and MR promotions for the opportunity."
Sanman CEO Jim Claude Manangquil was happy with his ward’s performance. “Magic looked really good tonight. He showed that he is a world class talent. He is ready for the big names in the super bantamweight. That will be next for him.
