Donaire TKOs Yee in 2nd round

DAVAO CITY -- Flyweight Ian Donaire of Samal Island came back strong in the 2nd round with a smashing right-left combinations to knockout Armando Yee of Gen. Santos City last Oct. 26 at the Babak Municipal Gym in the Island Garden City of Samal.
It was Donaire's 4th win and the 3rd knockout against a loss and a draw.
Donaire was a little bit surprised in the first round as Yee started with punches that almost knocked him out.
But Donaire kept himself at bay.
Meanwhile, three matches in the under card all end up in a separate rounds.
Light flyweight Nilo Entera of Samal hammered the face of Elfredo Pasin of Gen. Santos City in the whole four-rounds for a unanimous decision.
Jessie Bell Goltiano of Samal knockout in the 2nd round Jimbo Namion of Gen. Santos City while ga Jason Facularin of Davao City stopped John Paul Diana of Gen. Santos City in the 1st round.
The boxing promotion was made by Willie Neri of Winer Production to support the Samal Island boxing team.
