The original speech included parts in Tagalog. Below is the translation in English] Thank you, Mr. President. Thank you, fellow senators and Senate family. Thank you very much for your salutation. I also congratulate your leadership on the smooth opening of the 18th Congress. I offer my God and people my victory over Thurman. Thank you for all your love and support. At 40 years old, I can still fight someone who is 10 years younger than me. I can still give a good fight and entertain the fans. The abilities and skills that I have are from the Lord. I continue my boxing career for a purpose: to inspire our people to rise above their limitations and overcome their circumstances. Many say that no one else can be Manny Pacquiao. But I believe there are still more good boxers looking for the right opportunity. Mr. President, BOXING is my passion and PUBLIC SERVICE is my mission. I am ready to work with all of you in overcoming the challenges in the 18th Congress.
