Tinampay fights Sultan on June 26 in Bohol

DAVAO CITY ? Super lightweight Nelson Tinampay of Bohol will fight Boyce ?Astro Boy? Sultan of Cebu in 10-rounds on June 26 at the Inabanga, Bohol.
The 26-year old Tinampay (13W-7L-1D, 6KO) defeated Sultan by retirement in the 3rd round in their second encounter on Oct. 24, 2018 in Tagbilaran City.
Earlier, the 25-year old Sultan (9W-11L-1D, 5KO) won in their first fight by a unanimous decision last May 20, 2017 in Candijay, Bohol.
This time it will be a do-or-die encounter.
Meanwhile, Tinampay?s 24-year old younger brother Jason (9W-13L-1D, 7KO) will face ex-Mindanao champion Rogen Flores (14W-46L-6D, 7KO) in the undercard. (Lito delos Reyes)
