Abaniel to challenge dangerous Estrada in US

DAVAO CITY ? Former world champion Gretchen ?Chen Chen? Abaniel of the Philippines will challenge WBC Silver female light flyweight champion Seniesa ?Super Bad? Estrada of USA at The Avalon in Hollywood, California, USA.
Abaniel (18W-10L-0D, 6KO) has lost already in two successive major titles.
She first lost to Zongju Cai of China by a unanimous decision in the International Boxing Federation World female minimumweight title last Oct. 28, 2017 in Macao.
The 33-year old Abaniel was TKO?d by Tenkai Tsunami of Japan in the 4th round in July 29, 2018 in Okinawa in the World Boxing Organization World female light flyweight title.
Abaniel beat Saowaluk Nareepangsi by a UD in Austalia to keep her Global Boxing Union female world minimumweight title and win also the Women's International Boxing Association world minimumweight title last July 2, 2016.
Estrada (16W-0L, 6KO) first TKO?d Debora Rengifo of Venezuela in the 3rd round to win the vacant WBC Silver female light flyweight title last Nov. 17, 2018.
The 26-year old Estrada then retired Yenifer Leon of Venezuela in the 5th round last Feb. 23, 2019 in her first title defense.
The promoter is Oscar De La Hoya of Golden Boy Promotions while the matchmakers are Javier Razo and Robert Diaz. (Lito delos Reyes)
