PhilBoxing.com

The homecoming of the Pagara Brothers, Albert and Jason, is the main ingredient of Pinoy Pride 44 in Maasin City, Southern Leyte on June 9th. But the co-feature of this edition of the globally-known pro boxing series will involve Jeo "Santino" Santisima, one of the rising stars of the fabled ALA Boxing Gym.

"Jeo Santisima is a knockout artist that puts fans at the edge of their seats, this is his first attempt for a regional title which should be his springboard to bigger fights in the future if he wins impressively," says ALA Promotions President/CEO Michael Aldeguer.

Santisima will clash with Likit Chane alias Yodsingdaeng Jor Chaijindaborn of Songkhla, Thailand for the vacant World Boxing Organization Oriental super bantamweight title. The 12-rounder will serve as the supporting event of the WBO intercontinental super bantamweight championship featuring Albert Pagara vs. Laryea Gabriel Odoi of Ghana.

Born in Aroroy, Masbate, Santisima, has compiled a record of 15-2-0, with 13 KO wins. His blemishes were dealt by Roniel Parcon in his pro debut in 2013 and by Marlon Arcilla in 2014.

Since then, Jeo has collected 15 straight wins, 12 by knockouts. His latest victim was Kichang Kim, "The Lion of Borneo" from Indonesia by KO in the very first round November of last year. He also stopped Tanzania's Goodluck Mrema also in the opening round, July of last year.

Santino decisioned Indonesia's Master Suro, stopped another Indonesian Junior Bajawa by 3rd-rd. KO, and Thailand's Terdchai Doungmontree by 1st-rd. KO.

Jeo is rated No. 1 superbantamweight in the Philippines and No.35 in the whole world by BoxRec. Just 21-years-old, he has a very high KO rate of 76%.

Chane has a professional record of 16-5-0 with 10 KO wins. His KO rate is 48% and has fought a total of 113 rounds.

He recently lost to Juan Miguel Elorde by unanimous decision last February for the World Boxing Organization Asia Pacific super bantamweight title.

Santisima said he will face world rated fighters if he hurdles successfully his regional title fight against Chane.
