DUNO AND SUAREZ MAKE WEIGHT

Romero Duno of the Sanman Gym of Gen.Santos City is set for his third fight in the United States when he is pitted against Yardley Armenta Cruz a.k.a. Yardley Suarez at the Forum in Inglewood, California.
Duno weighed in at 135lbs while Suarez was at 133.6lbs.
They will clash in a non-title bout on a championship double-header fight card featuring Jorge Linares of Venezuela vs Mercito Gesta of Mandaue City,Cebu for the WBA lightweight title and Lucas Matthysse vs Tewa Kiram for the vacant BWA world welterweight title.
The fights will be held January 27 (Jan 28 Philippine Time).
Duno (15W-1L-0D, 13 Kos) is under a promotional contract with Golden Boy Promotions. He was training at the Sanman Boxing Gym in General Santos City and left for Los Angeles last Dec. 27 for the final touches of his training under Coach Rodel Mayol at the Freddie Roach?s Wild Card Gym.
