SANMAN BOXERS FIGHT ON THE ROAD

Rimar Metuda and Raymond Tabugon of the Sanman Gym of Gen.Santos City will figure once again in overseas bouts.
Sanman Promotions CEO Jim Claude Manangquil informed philboxing that Metuda has arrived in Russia for his fight against Isa Chaniev in St. Petersburg. Tabugon on the other hand, is in Los Angeles and will battle Luis Nery in Chiapas, Mexico.
Metuda will go for the IBF Youth junior lightweight title against Chaniev on December 15. Metuda (10-1,5KO?s) suffered his lone career loss in Russia last September against Mirzhan Zhaksylykov by unanimous decision. Chaniev is unbeaten in nine bouts with five by the abbreviated route.
Tabugon (18-6-1,8KO?s) will try to bounce back from his UD loss to former WBO/WBA flyweight champion Juan Francisco Estrada in Sonora, Mexico. Nery is unbeaten in 21 fights, 15 by KO, and has beaten Filipino boxers like Jether Oliva, John Mark Apolinario and Richie Mepranum.
