RESULTS FROM 'RUMBLE SA BALAMBAN'

Veteran bantamweight Jason Canoy of Cebu City added another win to his record by stopping journeyman Jetly Purisima of General Santos City during Friday night's 'Rumble sa Balamban' boxing event promoted by Omego Pro-Sports International at the Balamban Sports Complex in Balamban, Cebu.
Canoy (26-6-2, 19KOs) won by 5th TKO over Purisima who dropped his win-loss-draw record to 21-20-4, 6KOs. Canoy and Purisima earlier met on Oct 6, 2012 in Dalaguete, Cebu which resulted in a 2nd round technical draw after Purisima sustained a cut on his left eyebrow produced from an accidental headbutt.
