BOCA FALTERS IN THAILAND

Jeny Boy Boca of the Sanman Gym of Gen.Santos City came up short in his first overseas outing and lost in his bid to wrest the IBF Asia flyweight belt from Thai Komgrich Nantapech in a bout held Friday in Bangkok, Thailand.
Komgrich prevailed by KO in the sixth round. Sanman Promotions CEO Jim Claude Manangquil, who accompanied Boca, informed philboxing of the result.
Boca drops to 12W-4L.10KO?s while Komgrich goes up to 22-3,15 KO?s. Boca had previously lost in his attempts to win a belt when he lost to Ardin Diale for the Philippine flyweight title in 2104 and Giemel Magramo for the WBC International flyweight title last December.
Komgrich had previous loses to Filipino boxers Albert Pagara and Froilan Saludar.
