Cruz and Valdez met face to face at Press Conference

Kissimmee, FL: Orlando ?El Fenomeno? Cruz of San Juan, Puerto Rico and his opponent Alex Valdez of Ciudad Obregon, Mexico met today face to face for the first time in anticipation of their clash this Friday, July 15 at the Kissimmee Civic Center in Kissimmee, Florida.
The press conference was held at the headquarters of Mi Familia Vota in Orlando in which an alliance was announced with All Star Boxing, Inc in order to motivate Latin American Families to go out and vote on the next elections.
Cruz, (23-4-1-11 KO?s) ranked #5 by the WBO will defend his NABO, Jr. Lightweight Title against Valdez, (26-7-2-20 KO?s) in a Tribute to the victims of the massacre at Pulse Night Club last month.
Two exciting fights are schedule for the undercard, WBO #8 Flyweight contender Jobert ?Little Pac Man? Alvarez (15-1-1-7 KO?s) of San Leandro, CA will face Miguel Cartagena (14-3-5 KO?s) of Philadelphia, PA in a bout schedule for 8 rounds in the flyweight division and undefeated prospect Luis Olivarez (11-0-8 KO?s) of Glendale, Arizona will face fellow undefeated Efrain Cruz (4-0-1-1 KO) of Vieques, Puerto Rico in a bout schedule for 6 rounds in the Jr. Welterweight division.
4 more fights are schedule. Doors open 7:30 PM, First bell at 8:30 PM. Telemundo Network will televise the main event at 11:35 PM EST live.
