FARENAS TO FACE MANON ON AUG. 4

Top RP featherweight prospect Michael Farenas will once again see action on August 4 opposite Victor Manon in General Santos City in an event promoted by superstar Manny Pacquiao and Rex 'Wakee' Salud.
Farenas, who is a protege of Gerry Penalosa and Japan's Kosuke Washio, is hoping a win will line him up for bigger fights in the United States.
Farenas (16-2-2, 14 KO's) has been unbeaten since early last year and is riding high on an 8-bout winning streak.
The August 4 card will feature RP lightweight champ Arnel Porras defending his title against JR Sollano, and RP junior lightweight ruler Dodie Boy Agrabio against Aaron Melgarejo.
