TABUGON, HERNANDEZ FACE OFF FOR THE FIRST TIME IN PRESS CONFERENCE IN MEXICO PhilBoxing.com Fri, 13 Nov 2015  San Luis Potosi, Mexico - IBO Inter-Continental Champion Raymond "Tornado" Tabugon of the Philippines and Juan "Churritos" Hernandez of Mexico faced of for the first time in a press conference presented by Oswaldo Kuchle's PROMOCIONES DEL PUEBLO at the Hotel REALDEMINAS San Luis Potosi, Mexico. The two fighters will be fighting in the "MEXICO CONTRA EL MUNDO" supporting main event. Present at the press confrence were the Mexican media, sponsors reps and Televisa Deportes who will be broadcasting the event. Tabugon and Hernandez were introduced by representative of Promociones Del Pueblo and host Ricardo Lozada. First of the two fighters on the microphone was Hernandez who said that "I do not know Tabugon and he is going to be the second Filipino I am fighting but I know I am going to knock him out." Hernandez was with his trainer Isaac Bustos. Tabugon for his part said that "Every fighter always says that he's going to do this and that but all I can say is that it's better to make my work in the ring do the talking. I did not come here to lose and I am going to do what is needed to win this one." With Tabogon for this trip is SANMAN PROMOTIONS adviser Chad Canares who flew with the 24 year old "Tornado" from Magsaysay, Misamis Oriental via Hong Kong to Heathrow in London and onward to Mexico City before reaching San Luis Potosi. "In behalf of SANMAN PROMOTIONS of the Philippines, we would like to thank Mr. Oswaldo Kuchle of Promociones Del Pueblo for giving Ray Tabugon this opportunity to fight in Mexico. A country of great fighters and warm people. We hope that Ray would give a good fight not just for the promociones but for the Mexican boxing fans as well." Said the SANMAN Promotions adviser during the press conference. The official weigh-in or the Ceremonia de Pasaje Oficial will be on the 13th of November Friday at the Hotel REALDEMINAS in San Luis Potosi, Mexico and the event "MEXICO CONTRA EL MUNDO" headlined by the pair of Adrian Estrella of Mexico and Orlen Padilla of Columbia will follow the next day at the Auditorio Miguel Barragan in the said city.
