EX OPBF FLYWEIGHT CHAMPION ARDEN DIALE GETS ANOTHER CRACK AT THE TITLE VS RENOEL PAEL

PhilBoxing.com

Diale.
Former Oriental Pacific Boxing Federation flyweight champion Arden Diale gets another crack at the vacant title when battles Renoel Pael at Le Pavillion in Pasay City on December 2 in a fight card presented by United Boxing International Promotions of Japan?s Ryuka Kato.

The hard-hitting and aggressive Diale is the current Philippine champion and is ranked No.1 by the OPBF while Pael is ranked No. 1 in the Philippines and No. 5 by the OPBF.

The 27 year old Diale has a record of 29-9-3 with 15 knockouts while the 25 year old Pael from the stable of Rex ?Wakee? Salud has a record of 19-1-1 with 9 knockouts.

Diale won the vacant title with a 3rd round TKO over Jernie Jaael on August 1, 2010 but then challenged Julio Cesar ?Pingo?iranda for the world title and lost by a 4th round TKO in Mexico on February 26, 2011.

In a war for the OPBF title at the Korakuen Hall on June 17, 2014 fight fans were treated to a classic brawl when world champion Koki Eto and Diale put it all on the line in a ferocious battle while it lasted.

The bout promoted by former world champion Yoko Gushiken was described as ?really thrilling and even the down moments seemed exciting."

Round 8 was described as ?one of the rounds of the year while the fight itself deserved mention as ?Fight of the Year? and ?Comeback of the Year? going one way and then the other.?

Ultimately Ito retained his title but Diale won the hearts of the fans for his gallant stand.

Filipino promoter and former manager of Diale, Dante Almario said it was ?a very fantastic fight, one of a kind. Congrats to Eto, he is a world class boxer.?

Diale won five of his six fights since the loss to Ito by stoppage and in his last fight forced Insonesia?s Heri Amol to retire in the 6th round last July 11.

Pael is coming off a 3rd round knockout in a scheduled ten round bout against Renante Suacasa following a ten round unanimous decision over JR Salvador.

The fight card will be covered by Viva Sports and telecast on the top-rating weekly boxing show The Main Event at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday with a replay at 10:30 a.m.on Sundays over Pinoy Box Office on Sky Cable nationwide.
