It?s almost here, October 17th, I mean and the Mexican challenger to the title of Philippines? longest reigning boxing world champion, Donnie Nietes moments ago touched down at the Los Angeles Airport from Mexico.
Juan ?Pinky? Alejo arrived in LA looking trim and ready to go. But he was in his Team outfit so really, until he steps on the scales on Friday at the Carson Civic Center where the official weigh-in will be conducted, we will not know for sure.
Alejo and the rest of the fighters challenging the ALA boxers will meet their respective opponents from the fame Cebu gym of ALA Boxing on Thursday for the first time at a press conference slated at the Community Hall of the Carson Civic Center.
There the press can have a clear close up assessment of the fighters from both sides.
The Nietes-Alejo title fight is the first promotion of the ALA Boxing International in support of the Philippines giant TV conglomerate, ABSCBN and The Filipino Channel (TFC).
The event will be held at the StubHub Center in Carson, California. Gates opens at 3:00 PM and first fight starts at 4:00 PM.
Tickets starting at a modest $27 are available at axs.com and many Filipino outlets all over the greater Los Angeles area.
