NIETES MEDIA DAY WORKOUT AT FORTUNE GYM SAT., OCT 3 (UPDATED)

The Philippines' longest reigning world champion Donnie 'Ahas' Nietes will have a media day workout at the Fortune Gym on 7574 W Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles on Saturday, Oct 3 starting at 1:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., ALA Promotions has announced.
Nietes will headline ALA Promotions' maiden US card dubbed 'Philippines vs The World' at the StubHub Center in Carson, CA on Oct. 17 where he will defend his WBO light flyweight belt against No. 8 rated contender Juan 'Pinky' Alejo of Mexico.
Also featured on the card is Albert Pagara (24-0-0, 17KO) who will face Nicaraguan knockout artist William 'Chirizo' Gonzalez (27-5-0, 23KO) for the vacant WBO international junior featherweight title as well as undefeated Mark 'Magnifico' Magsayo (11-0-0, 9KO) will defend his IBF youth featherweight title against Yardley Suarez (13-0-0, 8KO) of Sinaloa, Mexico. Also on the card is WBO No. 2 rated Jason Pagara (36-2-0, 22KO) will face Santos 'El Toro' Benavides (25-7-2, 19KO) of Nicaragua over 10 rounds in a junior lightweight bout.
