Currently ranked in the top ten at 154 pounds by the WBO and IBF, Santa Catarina's Patrick Teixeira is seen by boxing observers as the top talent to emerge from Brazil since former world champion Acelino "Popo" Freitas. A southpaw with fight-stopping power who has ended 14 of his victories in two rounds or less, the 24-year-old Teixeira is coming off the biggest win of his career earlier this year, as he knocked out the 30-1 Patrick Allotey in just two rounds.

Empalme, Mexico's Gabriel "El Rey" Martinez has traveled a rocky road over the last couple years of his career, but with a recent knockout win over Manuel Valenzuela in March, the ten-year professional hopes that his fortunes will be on the upswing again. A versatile competitor who has been in the ring with the tough competition like Canelo Alvarez, Jesus Soto Karass and Mike Alvarado, Martinez is eager to halt the rise of Teixeira and begin his own move up the middleweight ladder.

Zachary "Zungry" Ochoa, of Brooklyn, New York has already accrued an impressive record staying undefeated since his professional debut at the age of 19 in 2011. One of the most promising prospects in the sweet science today, the 23-year-old fighter has continuously triumphed over formidable opponents, boasting recent wins over Moises Rios, Engelberto Valenzuela, Jose Miguel Castro, Luis Alberto Cervantes and David Rodela.

Hailing from San Antonio, Joshua Franco is also made his professional debut as a new Golden Boy fighter on the August 6 edition of the hit monthly series LA FIGHT CLUB defeating Temoatzin Landeros via split decision. Franco boasts an impressive amateur career winning the silver medal at the 2015 USA Boxing World Series of Boxing and World Team Trials in Chattanooga, Tennessee, as well as was invited to participate in the Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada.

Saul "Bebe" Hernandez, of Tijuana, Mexico has had a busy career since his professional debut in 2012. Recently, Hernandez has faced Francisco De Vaca, Alexis Zuzueta and Julio Castillo, and will be looking to add a victory to his record in his fourth fight of 2015. A resilient fighter, having gone the distance in his last four fights, Hernandez is ready to prove he has what it takes to succeed in the sport.

Francisco Ochoa, of South Los Angeles is a new fighter looking to make his mark in the professional boxing scene. Ochoa made an impressive professional debut on March 27, 2015 after dominating opponent Misael Chacon at Quiet Cannon in Montebello, Calif. Ochoa, who was born in Mexico, trains out of the New Generation Boxing Academy in Lynwood, Calif. He began boxing at age seven, following in the footsteps of three older brothers. On August 6, Ochoa made his debut at LA FIGHT CLUB winning his second professional bout via second round knockout against Marquis Pierce.

LA FIGHT CLUB is a monthly boxing series featured on the first Friday of each month, with upcoming shows on Nov. 6 and Dec. 4. The series showcases the brightest stars in the sport and present these exciting matchups in a nightclub atmosphere with an original setup. The boxing ring is set on the main floor of the Belasco Theater with on-camera standing room for fans in front of the ring similar to a concert pit, as well as reserved balcony and floor seats. Los Angeles' own DJ Ray of Big Boy's Neighborhood spins music during the fights and fans are able to dance and mingle with the fighters when the venue converts into a night club, in a VIP experience not matched by any promoter in the industry.

Media interested in attending the October 2 installment of LA FIGHT CLUB must be pre-approved for credentials. Credential applications will be available on September 8. Completed credential applications should be sent to credentials@goldenboypromotions.com by 5 p.m. on Thursday, September 21. Media will not be credentialed on-site, no exceptions.
