In the end, it was the Spurs' championship pedigree and the chance to play alongside the great Tim Duncan that swayed the 7-year pro. Aldridge's contract is worth $80 million for four years. He was a tenacious rebounder and a high percentage shooter whose only wrinkle is his 39.7 percent clip at the free throw line. Jordan joins a tough Mavericks team that already has Dirk Nowitzki, Chandler Parsons and the newly-acquired Wes Matthews of the Portalnd Trail Blazers.
