Gensan Fury I weigh-in on June 6 at Robinsons By Lito delos Reyes PhilBoxing.com Wed, 03 Jun 2015  GENERAL SANTOS CITY -- The official weigh-in and press conference of the ?Gensan Fury 1? boxing presentation is set on Saturday, 1 p.m. at the Robinsons Place Gensan. ?We want to bring back the big time boxing promotions here in Gensan,? said promoter Jim Claude Manangquil of Sanman Promotions. Gensan Fury 1 is slated on Sunday at 1 p.m. also the activity area of Robinsons Place Gensan featuring the championship fight for the vacant World Boxing Association (WBA) Oceania bantamweight title between reigning World Boxing Council (WBC) Youth world bantamweight champion Daryl ?Flash? Basadre of Sanman and Kenny Demecillo of Omega Stable from Cebu in the 12-round main event. ?We will now call our boxing promotions with international titles or fighters as part of the Gensan Fury series,? bared Manangquil. The Gensan Fury 1 is also Sanman Promotion?s first big boxing show for this year. Pitted in the main supporting bout are two undefeated fighters Rimar Metuda (6 wins, 3 Kos) of Sanman and Jerry Castroverde (5 wins, 3 Kos) of Omega. Featured in the undercard are Joy-Joy Formentera vs. Allan Doronilla (6 rds.-112 lbs.), Markquil Salva?a vs. Roger Echavez (8 rds.-122 lbs.), Christian Araneta vs. Amiro Ricablanca (8 rds.-112 lbs.), Jonathan Francisco vs. Raymond Dayham (6 rds.-115 lbs.), Mike Angelo Plania vs. Philip Parcon (8 rds.-122 lbs.) and Reymart Gaballo vs. Rocky Alvarez (6 rds.-118 lbs.).
