NBA -- Moore's 25-foot 3 carries Bulls over Thunder By Allan Rozic PhilBoxing.com Sat, 07 Mar 2015 CHICAGO -- E'Twaun Moore sank a long 3 with 2.2 seconds left to play and the Chicago Bulls rallied to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder, 108-105, on Thursday night at the United Center. Moore's game-winner capped a furious comeback that saw the Bulls erase a 100-91 deficit with only 5:11 left in the final quarter. With 4.4 ticks to go and Chicago trailing,105-104, Moore received a nifty assist from Pau Gasol and calmly drilled the 25-footer. The seldom-used Moore made the most of his 22 minutes of playing time by scoring a season-high 19 points. The 6-foot-4 rookie out of Purdue University made 9-of-10 field goals with four rebounds and two steals. Nikola Mirotic led the Bulls with 26 points off the bench while Gasol and Mike Dunleavy added 21 points apiece. "I was aware of the time management. I knew we only had four seconds and if he kicked it out, I knew there's not much time left. I shot it with confidence," said Moore, who got extended minutes at the guard spot as the Bulls played without injured stars Derrick Rose and Jimmy Butler. , In his third straight 40-plus game, Russell Westbrook led the Thunder with 43 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. He made 14 of 32 field goals and was saddled with five turnovers. Serge Ibaka finished with a strong 25 points and nine rebounds while D.J. Augustin had 10, but no other Thunder scored in double figures. OKC converted 41 of 88 field goals, including 8-of-20 from 3-point range. With the nail-biting win, the Bulls moved to second place in the Eastern Conference standings with a 39-23 slate. The Thunder, meanwhile, dropped to 34-28 but kept their place in the 8th spot in the Western Conference.
