LEE SAMUELS INDUCTED INTO SALEM COUNTY SPORTS HALL OF FAME

One of the nicest persons in the sometimes ugly business of boxing ? Lee Samuels of Top Rank Promotions ? has been deservedly inducted into the Salem County Sports Hall of Fame.
The induction ceremony was held at the Salem County Community College at Carney?s Point in New Jersey.
The Public Relations chief of Top Rank, Samuels has been a fixture in promotions and media tours all over the world and has been one of the most approachable and helpful individuals to Filipino media through the years.
Samuels who is from Pennsville, New Jersey was the former sports editor of the Pennsville Progress and Penns Grove Record newspapers in Salem County and later covered boxing for the Philadelphia Bulletin before joining Bob Arum?s Too Rank.
He has been with the premier promotional outfit in the world for over 30 years.
Lee Samuels won the Boxing Writers Association of America ?Good Guy Award? in 2007 which essentially reflects what the boxing fraternity thinks of him ? a genuine good guy.
